Been following the scene since it broke away from hardcore in 1992 into Jungle then later in 1995 to we know now as Drum and Bass (and its various sub genres intelligent/liquid). Nothing makes me as happy as listening and playing rolling beats, which for me came from that 6 seconds of pure genius in 1969... the Amen break (The Winstons - Amen, Brother). |
