Google to launch music service to dominate internet streaming

Posted in Music Technology by Forshay | 809 reads

With the recent launch of Bing Entertainment, reports are now surfacing that Google is currently planning it’s own online music service to be packaged with their search engine.

Google already offers streaming services on it’s platform via partners such as iLike and Pandora, however reports state that the worlds largest brand is seeking to integrate it’s own music service. Sources hint that this is the first steps towards a cloud computing based music subscription service.

It is not yet clear wether or not Google will mash togther their entertainment content in the same way Microsoft has, or wether this will be a stand alone music service, though on thing is for sure, music sites like soundcloud better watch out!
