Blasta started producing music in 1998. His first appearance took place at festival "Russian Drum'n'Bass Convention '003". His first released drum'n'bass tune 'Autumn pleasures' also appeared on "Russian Drum'n'Bass Convention '003" CD. At that moment it was the first russian soulful drum'n'bass tune that became so popular on the scene. It was a gap!

After that Blasta began to perform often as d&b dj and producer in clubs of Saint-Petersburg and other cities of Russia and Ukraine. He is the participant of such huge raves by Radio Record as Vspishka and Pirate Station. A lot of his tunes were released on different drum'n'bass compilations ("Pirate Station. Russian Version", "Russian Drum&Bass", "Russian Drum'n'Bass Convention", "Respect" and others). In 2005 his 1st d&b EP "Red Dragon Sword" was released on Respect records. 18 tracks produced by Blasta were signed by Nookie to UK online label Strictly-Digital.com. His tunes were also released by Strictly Digital on cd mixes Atmosphere 1 and 2, and also on vinyl sampler Atmosphere 2.

Blasta created Summerteam group. He is organizing in Saint-Petersburg atmospheric unexampled d&b open-airs "Summertea", trying to save and bring to people the most light and beautiful d&b vibrations among the unforgettable landscapes, for 2 years already. From October 2005 Blasta is the resident of regular soulful parties Listen Up! made by Respect Family. During 5 years Listen Up! showed themselves as the most intelligent and nice d&b parties of Petersburg. Blasta is also the head and the owner of the 1st Russian Ragga-Jungle label - Rising Lion Soundsystem.

On his first album Blasta perfectly shows his magnificent talent to create melodic and original dancefloor friendly soulful drum&bass music. Welcome to the world of positive vibes!
