Liquid drum and bass to me will always be my favourite type of music simply because it picks me up no matter what mood im in. Unlike listening to other sub-genres of d&b, it seems to have a constant blissful melody which always takes me back to summer memories no matter what im doing. I can just shut my eyes and each track seems to paint a different picture in my mind - almost some sort of story taking me on a journey.
And at the end of the day i consider it my soul, my woman, my everything, and nothing will ever change that.
Liquid is a kind of awsomeness and beauty.

Liquid D+B is all about the vibe of the music - Complex, Deep, Hypnotic, Funky, Soulful.....Only people with a real knowledge of music and a certain mindset appreciate its brilliance.
the motion. it enters every corner of you and in the same time it surrounds you. and then you move.
Liquid drum and bass means that a track contains melody, besides the other basic components of a song. Melody can sustain vocals and thus there can be message. So, for me, it's the perfect combination. I simply love liquid dnb sounds, besides being continuously tempted to sing when hearing them, they also produce feelings. These feelings trigger the release of dopamine, which is responsible for happiness. And happiness is what people pursue. Liquid drum and bass to me is pure happiness, it heals my soul, rising me above any obstacle that is in my path :)

the feeling comes from within my soul. I've been rinsing DnB for almost 10 yrs and not until I started sticking to the newer genre of liquid did I feel so blissed out while playing and listening to DnB. It captures a essence of beauty that everyone can groove with. Its DnB for everybody.

Liquid drum and bass is like shaking a snow globe filled with orbs and unicorns and watching the syrup trickle down the curved surface like a thundering Logistics bassline pulsating across room 1 of Heaven. The contrast of light and dark as a high passed amen loop twinkles across a jazz sample from a Mile Davis record makes me cup my elbow and slowly gyrate it across my tobacco laden desk.
The liquid sound defines a golden era for me where I could do more than I could now. A time where I was free from the shackles of modern day convention, a time where I could let go and feel the breeze of beautiful sines wisp across the hairs on my ears. I see colours when I hear liquid, like a synesthesia I can't control. Deep baby blues and lush yellows fill my eyes as I touch the platter of my Technic 1210 spinning at 45 rpm playing the latest Makato tune, spinning a colourful web of vivacious melody into an oscillating tornado of frequency into my ear.
I remember the first time I heard liquid. It struck me with such force. Liquid is like David Cameron, a big smooth forehead, a beautiful healthy man, strong in his options...weak when it comes to love. Liquid is there for me at times of need. When I’m in between a rock and a hard place all I need to do is ease into Progression Sessions 56 and swim with the turtles in the crystal clear waters of the bassline. Sounds of the London underground made global.
Transcending worlds, civilisations and time I feel my feet lift the ground as I’m transported into a type of euphoria that money can't buy.
Simply put, I love Liquid drum and bass with all my heart and soul.

It's like when I hold in a wee for ages until it almost feels sexual and then I go to the loo and pee for five minutes.
To me, liquid drum and bass means scoffing middle class students with high contrast CDs, a soullless tripey misnomer of 'soul music' and flimsy plasticky drums, shit rhodes sounds, jarring diva vocals and cuntish braying cocks with day glo arm bands and floppy haircuts.
for me liquid is a way of departure from busy, hecktic life. it slows down and chills the odinary rushed world and opens up an opportunity to relax and feel as if nothing else matters, as if nothing else is needed of you.
in a way its sort of a reasurance that im still living my life. it shows me im still alive
